WASC Accreditation & School Accountability Report Card
Accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges
Horizon Charter Schools is fully accredited through June 30, 2024 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This accreditation certifies to the public that the school is a trustworthy institution of learning and validates the integrity of our educational programs. WASC accreditation assures the broader school community that our purposes are appropriate and being accomplished through high quality educational programs. In addition, the University of California (UC) requires all schools that offer UC-approved courses meeting A-G requirements to be accredited by WASC.
School Accountability Report Card (SARC)
Every school in California is required by state law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC), by February 1 of each year. The SARC contains information about the condition and performance of each California public school. For more information about SARC requirements, visit the California Department of Education (CDE) SARC. Parents and community members should contact us or the Western Placer School District for additional information about the school.
