Curriculum Options for Parents

Horizon Charter Schools recognize that each individual learning plan will be unique to your student. We invite parents and teachers working collaboratively in designing a curriculum package that will meet each student’s needs. As you develop your student’s curriculum plan, you may want to visit our Curriculum Resource Center, (CRC), located at 3144 Venture Drive in Lincoln. The CRC houses a rich collection of materials to support student learning. This includes library books, curriculum support materials, parent and teacher resources, audiovisual materials, games, manipulatives, and reference materials, all available for checkout.

Sometimes, choice can be overwhelming when it comes to curriculum planning. Recognizing this, our teachers put together standards-based recommended curriculum packages. Samples of this curriculum are available for browsing at the CRC. Materials may be shipped or picked up at the CRC.
