Sacramento Leadership Cooperative (SLC)

The Sacramento Leadership Cooperative is a K-12, parent participation, college preparatory program that offers a small classroom environment with direct instruction from highly qualified credentialed teachers.

Who might be a good candidate for this program: If you are looking for daily instruction (4 days a week) in a classroom environment of 20 to 24 students where individual talents are appreciated and respected, want additional educational support when needed and want instruction that follows a rigorous course of study utilizing Horizon recommended curriculum, then this program might be of interest to you.

Program Description: The Sacramento Leadership Cooperative is a program designed to meet the needs of students in grades K-8 who thrive on small classroom environments. Rigorous school-adopted recommended curriculum is used. Emphasis is placed on independent learning, leadership skill training, and character development. After school educational support for students is available when needed. This program requires a minimum of one hour per week parent participation.
